What is Vinyl Squid?

I used to use hipster ipsum to generate fake text when doing frontend development while waiting for localization from the product team. Then one day, I needed to name a new device, and decided to use hipster ipsum to generate it by picking two random words that sounded neat from the output. From this, Vinyl Squid was born.

But that only explains the name. What is this website? This is a digital garden, or a place where I can share my thoughts and ideas. The entire website is evergreen, so you won't see dates here. I'm not sure how often I'll update it, but I hope you enjoy what you find here.
